We believe there is only one God who is in three Persons:
God the Father,
who is the Creator of the universe, the Source and Sustainer of all life.
God the Son, Jesus Christ,
who came to earth in the form of a man, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He is fully God and fully
human. He died on the cross to redeem us, was resurrected, ascended to
heaven, and will return in power and glory to establish His kingdom and
judge the living and the dead.
God the Holy Spirit,
who is the Comforter and Counselor. He spiritually enlightens us, empowers us, guides us, and gives us spiritual gifts. He
dwells in the hearts of all believers.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is infallible in everything it teaches. The Holy Spirit enables believers to understand and apply the Word of God to their lives.
We believe that all people are sinners, and that forgiveness of sins was purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is only available by the grace of God through our faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, and acceptance of Him as our personal Lord and Savior.
We believe that inclusion in the body of Jesus Christ comes through a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ and is not based on denomination or registration on a local church roll.
We believe that baptism and communion were instituted by Jesus Christ and given to the Church as a means of remembrance and participation in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that He is spiritually present in the observance of these practices.
We believe that our life in Jesus Christ is meant to be lived in community with other believers for the purposes of corporate worship, mutual edification, service to others, and making disciples of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the local church acts as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ and that all members of the Body are to be ministers to each other, their community, and their world according to the gifts given to them
by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that marriage was designed by God as the union of one man and one woman for companionship, partnership, procreation, and raising children for the blessing of His creation.
